Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 1 g red carrot

  • 1 medium zucchini

  • 1 red pepper

  • 2 tablespoons of honey

  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds

  • salt to taste

  • pepper to taste

Preparation steps

  • Peel and slice the carrot into thin strips. Cut the zucchini and bell pepper into strips of similar size for even cooking.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and fry until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add the carrots to the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until they begin to soften. Stir occasionally to prevent them from sticking.
  • Add the zucchini and bell pepper strips to the pan. Continue cooking over high heat for about 5 minutes, making sure they remain crisp.
  • Drizzle the vegetables with honey and soy sauce. Mix well to coat all the ingredients evenly. Cook for another 3 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with sesame seeds just before serving for added flavor and crunch.

This stir-fry combines the crispness of fresh vegetables with the sweetness of honey and the salty taste of soy sauce. The recipe simply requires a good peeler, minimal preparation time, and is perfect for busy weeknights.

The carrots, zucchini, and peppers retain their firm texture thanks to quick cooking over high heat. Garlic infuses the olive oil with its aroma before the vegetables are added to the pan.

The honey caramelizes slightly and blends with the soy sauce to create a sauce that coats the vegetables. Sesame seeds add a crunchy texture at the end of cooking.

This dish can be served with rice, noodles, or eaten on its own!
